About Dover

Meet Dover! This happy, handsome, 8-year-old pittie mix is located in Hull, MA. He is dearly loved by his current owner, but Dover's dad is about to change schedules and is seeking a home that can give his beloved pup more attention. Dover is a young senior who is affectionate, playful, and loyal. His interests include sunbathing, playing tug of war, riding in the car, and of course, cuddling with his humans. He is one of those dogs that likes doing things with his family. Additionally, Dover would like an owner who is home more often than not. He adores his people and their attention more than anything. While he loves the company of people of all ages, Dover is sometimes unaware of his own size and strength. Therefore, he should not live with young children. He needs an adult home, with or without older kids 12+. Dover is not aggressive towards other dogs but likes to be large and in charge, so he would do best in a single-pet home. Dover's new home must have either a fenced yard or an owner who will keep him on leash when he's outside because he can be a flight risk. He sometimes darts off to chase small animals.
