About Baby

She has been at the shelter since 4-8-21. She is on our adoption hall, but she is in competition with many other pit and pit blends. We noticed Baby was getting depressed and the adoption staff decided to give her special time. And here is what we learned about Baby. She is awesome. She is very food moderated and is so easy to train with treats. It is amazing how quick she learns. Within 10 minutes of her training session, she knew if she sits everyone is happy. Baby is extremely nosy, and is learning the off command. Currently she is laying on her belly on the floor near my coworkers, she gave out a big sigh and took a mini nap. She loves chew toys. Here is some back ground on Baby. She came to us as a stray, about 4 years old. Her owner came to claim her, but refused to get her spayed and signed her over to us. That's about it. She is heartworm positive and received her Doxycycline pretreatment and has not missed a heart worm pill since. (Slow treatment). Her weight is 59 lbs. She is fine with calm dogs, but shows not much interest. Our office cats stay away from her, so we do not have a status on her interaction with cats.
