ARE YOU MY PEOPLE? Hi! Star here, I am currently hanging out with the folks at Vermont English Bulldog Rescue in Williston, VT. They are great and all but I would really like to be sprung from this joint and offered a home and family of my very own! At only 1 year old I am a young girl weighing in around 50 pounds, (I know typically a lady never reveles her age/weight but I don't mind) They tell me I am a Shepherd mix whatever that means, all I know for sure is I am beautiful. Now it can't be all about looks so I will tell you I also have a very energetic and spunky personality. My likes include playing fetch, running around, and in Texas I had so much fun wresling with my foster siblings. I am well behaved in my crate especially if you give me a few toys to keep me busy but would much prefer to be out with you. I am house trained and crate trained. My foster mom in Texas started to teach me basic commands and I have mastered Sit and Down, especially if cookies are involved. In my first year I was not very well socilized so I am still working on my manners but I am a smart girl, so with structure and training I am confident I will blossom into an even more amazing dog. I would be happy to be an only dog in my new family, but I also wouldn't mind a fur sibling to play with and learn from. I would just ask that you introduce us slowly so we can feel safe and comfortable getting to know each other. I will say that I probably shouldn't live with kitty cats.. the urge to chase them is just overwhelming and I can't seem to stop myself. As for the tiny humans I can forget my size sometimes and might be a little overly exhuberant with really young ones, but older children would be fine. I have heard people say that I have an independent personality, I guess that is true. I don't actively seek out attention from my people and I can entertain myself for hours given the right toy. That said I will let you in on a little secret, I love having my ears rubbed!!! I am pretty sure once I am comfortable and know I am home for good my inner snuggle buddy might emerge.
