About Apollo- Apottomous

Rottweiler
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Read entire post. Read from beginning to end; then read it all over again. I will know if you don't. If you reply with a one liner -how much?- just delete yourself. Apollo-Apottomous a 5 year old big boy is probably 20 pounds overweight- hence his name derived from Hippottamus. Weighing in at 140 pounds and recently neutered he is seeking a new loving home. He gets on with some dogs- but prefers the ladies and has lived with smaller dogs too. Currently in an attentive foster home with a female Rotti- he i doing well. He is an Alpha. He Has never been introduced to live stock. Is ok with cats- just kind of neutral. Good potty manners, loves to go on rides, camping, and leisurely strolls. He is on Meds for dysplasia. Because he will pick his person to protect- I think a home without children is appropriate as they can be unpredictable. A strong confident mature family with limited people traffic - is the order of the day. He is a lover. It is important that his people provide the necessary meds to keep him comfortable so he can live life with robust enthusiasm like any other dog. I think his dysplasia will be better when he looses a few pounds. So let's talk. He does not deserve the type of family from which he came- to be tossed in a small yard with little stimulation. He wants to much to be part of your life. Tennis Balls make him smile. Please remember age appropriate placement is in order. For instance- if you are 80 years old-or non-ambulatory or have crawling tots- not happening! Please tell my guardian-advocate about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city in which you live, other pets in your home and whatever else puts you on top. The more information about you - the better. What can this companion expect from you and what are your expectations of him/her. If you do not provide this information, do not expect a reply. Seriously- if you don't take the time to tell us about yourself and family- you will not get a reply. This is not a first come placement. There is a placement fee to offset care and medical. Please allow a few days- as I review inquiries. Tell me why you should be on the top of the list of potential families. Sell yourself.
