About Copper

Copper is a super sweet and social 4 year old Beagle mix (~60lbs). He loves humans and dogs of all sizes and would prefer a home with another dog to play with. His favorite activities are barking at the neighbor dogs and playing hard with his little rat terrier BFF. Copper is a little tubby and has been working hard on his diet, but is otherwise healthy. He is housebroke and crate trained and generally listens very well to his human (he does have a little of the Beagle stubbornness though!). He will require a fenced in yard. Copper is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and kept on monthly preventatives. Copper's adoption fee is $250. All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Wichita, KS and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. We do allow out of state adoptions, however qualified in state applications will be given preference. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog based on the dogs needs.
