Carrie is a gorgeous young terrier mix that is in search of a forever family to call her own. Carrie and her friend Miranda were humanely trapped by HARTT a few weeks ago and brought to us. They had been running around the area they were found in for close to a month. They needed a lot of help with socialization and they both have made huge strides. Although still wary of strangers, with time Carrie warms up and can be a very sweet girl. She is still very nervous of fast movements, so she will need a home where her people are willing to go slow and let her come around at her own pace without pushing boundaries. She will likely need all basic training. Here at the shelter, she has done very well in a kennel and waiting to go potty outside. She will require a home with a securely fenced in yard to learn in until she is ready to explore the world in confidence.
