I'm too young to leave this world! Only 1 yr old and set to be put down in the shelter 9/17/2021! He is hoping a hero will come for him before it's too late! Mateo just can't handle the shelter any longer as he has been living in a kennel over 4 months! Mateo is a staff and volunteer fav! He may need a few to warm up, but once he does he will place his head on your lap, lean in for pets and enjoys belly rubs! He even comes to you already house broken, knows some commands and walks nicely on a leash! Mateo has a quirky, fun personality, including a cute underbite. He has had some good social interactions with other dogs back in May, he may do well in a home with other dogs if introduced properly.
