About Riley

This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $250 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Are you looking for someone to join you on all sorts of adventures? If so, consider Riley! She is a 10-month-old, 33 pound Lab / Border Collie mix (best guess) who is excited to be included in her family's activities. She is EXTREMELY treat and attention motivated. She loves playing with her foster dog brother and foster cat sister, and we've found she absolutely LOVES being around other animals. Riley is great around bigger kids, although she still jumps a lot (we are working on that). She's done great in her crate training, and has not had any accidents in her foster home so we consider her housetrained with a regular routine. She's working on harness and leash training. She LOVES car rides as well as playing in the water. She knows the 'sit' command, although sometimes she gets excited and you have to tell her a few times before she focuses enough to do it. Riley is a puppy still, and she LOVES chewing on her toys, and still needs you to puppy proof her area. A fenced yard or somewhere with LOTS of room to run, and other animals to play with would be ideal for her. Riley is super smart and picks up on things easily. She just needs someone who is patient and will work with her on her manners because she absolutely adores part of a family. She loves laying with her fosters on the bed, and likes to be included in just everything. Her favorite hobby is taste testing all the puppy snacks her foster mom attempts from Pinterest, specifically anything with carrots!
