About Rowan

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. Born 3/30/2021 at the rescue to Momma Honeybun who is already adopted. If you're looking for a calm, happy and playful Chihuahua puppy, look no further! Rowan is a 5-month-old, male Chihuahua mix, weights close to 10 lbs. He's shy at first, but warms up quickly. He's playful and friendly, and gets along with all the dogs he has encountered. His favorite activities are chewing toys, playing with his doggie friends, and cuddling up with them for a nap! Rowan is crate trained, and stays quietly in his crate throughout the night. He's very quiet with alarm barking only. Rowan is the more independent of the brothers. He cuddles a lot with his brother and his senior friend, but not much with people. He's happy napping with us on the couch, but not a big cuddle bug. He's not needy and quite independent. While he's playful, Rowan is very calm too and happy to nap all day long. Since he's social and playful, Rowan can benefit from having a doggie friend. He is just a puppy and will need all the training and socialization a puppy requires. He is truly a pleasure to have around, and we will surely miss him after he's adopted. �ٴ� Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs are spayed or neutered at 6 months of age or older. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay/neuter appointments. If you live within a four-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, we will ask you to make an appointment to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
