About Springer

Hi, I'm Springer! I have been at the shelter for almost two months. I am now so stressed, frustrated, and overly excited that I've become difficult to handle. Just look at this small kennel I am in day after day for over 60 days! I came to the shelter as a stray and my Finder said I was housebroken and great with people! No dog-to-dog assessment was done due to medical concerns at the shelter. I am wiggly and wag my tail when you come up to my kennel! Prior to becoming stressed and frustrated, I was easy to leash and return to my kennel and would settle into a good walking pace. I 'sit' for treats but have been inconsistent with how I take them�'�|sometimes gently but at other times grabby. I need help with 'manners' because I tend to jump up on people when excited. I think consistent exercise and attention would help me with this. Children in the home must be 12+. I need an adopter to step up soon to save me. The shelter is full, and there are no extensions! Will you come and meet me?
