About Nora

Nora is located in foster in Bennett, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. * We do not transport dogs. * Please apply to adopt at https://milehighcanine.org/forms-and-applications/mhcr-adoption-application/! This sweet face is Nora. Nora came to us from an underfunded rural shelter in Texas where she was facing euthanasia due to being heartworm positive. Upon arrival to MHCR she began heartworm treatment and joined a loving foster home where she lives with other dog friends and a human kiddo - whom she adores. Nora is small in stature and doesn't have the high-energy that a lot of our lab friends share. She enjoys snuggling up with her humans, camping, and lounging around the house. Nora has completed her heartworm injections and will be spayed mid-October; at which time she can be adopted. She will require a test in March of 2022 to see if she is now heartworm negative. This will be covered by MHCR.
