About Bluto

Bluto's dad passed away and we took him in to keep him from being given away on Craigslist or taken to the pound. I would love to keep him unfortunately we cannot. Bluto isn't perfect but who is? He is VERY sweet and lovey when it comes to people. As for other animals he gets along with most of our dogs except our old beagle. He also has food aggression. He CANNOT be fed when there are other animals around which is why we cannot keep him. We have several other pets. He also does not do well with livestock which is reason #2 he can't stay here. Right now he has to stay outside in a pen for the most part and I absolutely hate that for him. We HAVE to find him a place before winter. I just cannot have a dog stuck outside in the cold. We would really prefer to find a rescue for him because he isn't neutered yet and I just don't have the extra money after 3 emergency vet fees for one of my seniors. I do not know about house training, I know our friend had him inside and outside. He has done ok with our cats the small amount he has been around them. Like I said, I would prefer to send him to a licensed rescue but if an individual is interested I will require vet and personal references, a home visit, and you must prepay for his neuter and show proof.
