About BROWNIE

Brownie came to us when her family could no longer care for her due to some hardships and a housing change. In rescue Brownie got spayed and had a dental cleaning from which she recovered very well. She is estimated around 10 years old and 55 lbs. She walks very nicely on a leash (is pretty strong for an old gal), does great in a crate and is house trained with a dog door. She is not an excessive barker and has excellent house manners. She can initially be a little defensive when meeting new dogs her size and bigger but has done great overall and has mostly lived with smaller dogs. She is great with all new human friends of all ages and seems to really love kids! She is looking for a retirement home with a yard and someone to take her for walks. She is a great companion dog
