About Beyla

'Hello friends and hopeful future pet parent! My name is Beyla (pronounced like 'Bay-lah') and I originally came to SVASC as a stray. Unfortunately, my owner decided not to come reclaim me, so now I am looking for a new family. Any takers? I am a super happy and outgoing pup. I love people and love to be around them. In my previous home, I was living with children and so I should do okay with them in my future home as well. Sometimes, I take a little bit of time to warm up to new folks, so just come armed with treats. I shouldn't take too long to be your new best pal! When I'm excited, I can be pretty jumpy, so I will need some work on my manners, but there isn't anything that you couldn't convince me to do for some hotdog. I do seem to be house-trained and am pretty tidy in my kennel. I was also living in a home before my stay at the shelter, so I should be able to adjust to house-training in my new home, as well. In my previous home, I was a wanderer and so leash-walking, a tie-out, or a fenced in yard would be best for me. Given some time and training, I could probably learn some off-leash skills too!
