About Barbara Ann

Barbara Ann is such a pretty girl! She is part Cattledog and part mystery. She is all smarts and fun. Barbara Ann was born in May, 2021. She is about 20 pounds now and we think she will get to 35-40 pounds when grown. Barbara Ann is doing well on her 'manners': Sit, Down (lay down), Wait (at doors and for food), and Leave it.�%A0She knows Shake�%A0or High Five, Sit Pretty and is beginning to catch treats in her mouth. Click on the red YouTube button to see her manners in action. Barbara Ann is house and crate trained also. This little girl is shy at first, but warms up with patience. She is good with men, women, plus the children (6-16 years) whom she has met. Barbara Ann is good with other dogs. Her foster home has two other dogs. She does like to play with other dogs. Barbara Ann is learning more about the leash everyday. She now likes to 'get dressed' to go for a walk on leash. She is quiet and calm in the car. She is still a puppy and, although she knows the limits in her foster home now, shoes, and other soft things will need to be watched�%A0until she learns to 'leave' it.�%A0 Barabra is a cuddle puppy, very much a lap dog in the house, but also loves to follow her people around the yard and at play.�%A0 She is super smart and willing to please so teaching her more tricks should be a goal that works. As she learns more about the leash she will make a great hiking partner and even a great 'go to work' dog. Barbara Ann is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in SoCal. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
