About Cheeto

Cheeto is a handsome black and white pittie mix who is about 7 years old. Cheeto is a high-energy pup, and a smart, active dog. He would do really well in a home with someone willing to exercise and train him, where he can have a stable routine. He loves playing with toys, especially if there's a person there to throw the ball, play tug with the rope toy, or squeak the squeaky toy! He is a smart dog who is eager to please - he knows commands such as sit, lay down, and leave it. Cheeto does well when left alone during the workday and is house trained. He loves going for walks and hikes to get all of his energy out. He may even be your next running buddy! Cheeto has been around chickens before without issue, but may be happiest in a home without other pets. He would do best in a home without kids. He does get agitated around new people, or with disturbances like the doorbell or road noise. We've been working with him on reducing his reactivity to these situations, and he has come a long way. We're hoping he can find a forever home with owners who can give him the exercise, discipline, and affection he needs!
