About Penny

**PLEASE READ PENNY'S BIO THOROUGHLY BEFORE INQUIRING. THANK YOU** This little cutie is Penny and we got her when she was being sold at the border of Tijuana for $5! Luck was on this little girl's side because someone who knows our rescue happened to be there at the right time and bought Penny and got her straight to our foundation. We had her vet checked and thankfully she is a healthy dog. Penny is a 5 month old, 15lb Chihuahua/ Possibly Lab/Shepherd mix. Please note that she is still growing and could possibly grow up to 25lbs. We are looking for a puppy savvy home because she is going through the chewing and rambunctious stages. We do not want her crated. She MUST go into a home with another 'young' and 'playful' dog. She cannot be an 'only' dog. She would make an amazing addition to a home with kids, but probably 10 yrs old and older as she is pretty strong and jumps on you. We definitely want her in a home with a safe and secure yard, not an apt or condo as she likes to run and get her energy out running around in a backyard. Penny is a fun and playful little pup, who just needs a family to love her as she deserves to be loved! WE ONLY ADOPT IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AS AN IN PERSON HOME CHECK AND TRIAL PERIOD ARE REQUIRED.
