About Jake

Jake will follow you anywhere and loves attention. He gets that super cute wiggle butt going when he gets loving. He is an easy car rider; he is quiet and well-behaved. He is very easy on a leash and walks so nicely. Jake is a great all around companion. He comes when called in the fenced yard. He loves going on walks, so a fence is not required if his adoptive family will commit to several daily walks and play time. None-the-less, Jake really enjoys the fenced yard at his foster family's house to run and play. Jake gets along with his three furry foster siblings and plays really well with the large foster puppy. He is also good with children. An active family who would spend lots of time with Jake is the best kind of match for him. When we describe Jake, he has lots of great qualities, playful, happy, snuggler, lap dog, social with people & other dogs, loves attention, loves belly rubs & pets, and shares toys easily. Jake is also already house and crate trained. Jake has that great kind of personality where he would be a good only dog or with dog siblings. Jake sits for treats and is learning when he behaves nicely and doesn't beg, good things happen. He is also learning that strangers are ok, too. He is a little shy at first until he gets to know them. He is a 4-year-old, 59lb male Lab mix. As part of Jake's $250 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
