About Rex

I'm Rex, a four-year-old terrier mix, a healthy, 40 pound sweetheart. I'm the Derek Jeter of dogs, I can catch anything and will bring it right to your feet. I love toys and treats. I came in as a stray and I'm looking for my forever home. I'm the shelter's longest resident, I've been here for 10 months. I sometimes don't show well in a cage or behind a barrier but once I'm out I'm a bundle of energy. I'm a sensitive boy so it takes me a little bit of time to get to know someone before I give them my trust. Once I know you, we'll be the best of friends, especially if you play fetch with me -- it's my FAVORITE activity! I'm looking for a household where I'm the only pet and the only youngin', so children in the home are a no for me. I'm full of energy so I need an experienced dog owner.
