Name: Viper Age: Approximately 2.5 years old Breed: Pitbull mix Sex: 55# Male (not neutered) Location: Center, Shelby County, Texas Vet Information: Not UTD on vaccinations. HW not up to date. Viper not microchipped or neutered - owner has only had him about 6 months. Acquired from her neighbor who was neglecting him. Owner report: Viper was recently acquired by the current owner, Kimberly, after she noticed the dog being neglected by her neighbor after the dog became blind due to an accident. She currently has 8 other rescue dogs so cannot care for Viper and give him the care he needs. Viper is described as an outdoor dog who is good on a leash but is not housebroken. He understands commands in Spanish - Sit, Down, and Stay. Viper is described as outgoing and does well with men, women and female dogs. He is not known to be possessive over food or treats. The owner does not know whether he is good with children, as he hasn't been around them. She does report that he barks at other dogs sometimes but is never aggressive or physical. Viper's owner reports 'I have a big heart, but I am on a limited budget and feel that Viper can have a better life with someone who can give him the care he needs.'
