About Mia

Mia is a former San Antonio street dog currently looking for her forever home in NoVA/MD area. Mia is a very affectionate, sweet girl who can either curl up and cuddle on the couch or enjoy a more active lifestyle. She's adventurous (she loves to hike) and really enjoys playing with tennis balls. It is important to note that Mia will be very shy at first and will require patience and understanding while she adjust to her new surrounding, but will quickly become more confident over time, especially when provided structure. Mia has a bit of separation anxiety, so CBD oil helps when her people leave the home. Although Mia can get along with other dogs, however **she is looking for a family who is willing to keep her as the only pup in the household.** Mia is potty trained,crate trained, and doesn't chew on furniture!! We also offer a foster to adopt program, which allows a family to spend a few weeks getting to know their potential new family member and see if she/he fits into their home before making the commitment to adopt.
