About Dexter

Dexter is a friendly male Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix that suddenly appeared one day at a young woman's home. None of the neighbors were missing a pet and attempts to find an owner were unsuccessful. She asked for our help to find him a loving home. Approximately one year old, Dexter is a sweet small dog that only weighs thirteen pounds. This spunky little freckled-nose pup is very outgoing and loves everyone. He is good with children and enjoys the company of other dogs. He has not been around cats but we can test that for you. Because he was a stray, we don't know if he is housebroken. Close supervision will be needed until he adjusts to your home. Dexter is very smart and should catch on quickly if kept on a schedule. A fenced in yard will be required to keep him safe from harm. Dexter is the perfect pet for anyone looking for a friendly loving companion. He is playful but also enjoys spending time relaxing with you. You'll never be lonely or bored with Dexter beside you.
