About Summit

Check out this cutie! A rescued stray, Summit is quite handsome with his white and brindle gray coat. This friendly little dog is a male Jack Russell/Boston Terrier mix estimated to be one year old. Summit is the perfect companion for an adult home or family with children over five. He is a small stocky dog and only weighs fifteen pounds. Summit was reserved when he first arrived at the shelter. It didn't take long, however, for volunteers to gain his trust. He's a happy little dog when playing with his pals outside. Summit would enjoy the companionship of a well-mannered dog in his new home. If you own a dog, we can arrange a playdate to see if they are a match. Because he was a stray, we don't know if Summit is housebroken and he may need additional training. Please give him time to adjust to your home. A fenced in yard will help with training and give him a safe place to run and play. Summit is a great little dog that will make some lucky family a fabulous pet.
