About TAYLOR

American Staffordshire Terrier / Lab
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Taylor is one special boy!. He was able to stay alive in a kill shelter for 460 plus days. Yes over 1 1/4 years. He is 3 years old about 62 lbs. He was the ambassador dog at the shelter. They loved him and really did not want him to leave. It took a lot of energy on our part to get him out! We want him to have a fair chance at an amazing life. His guardian loves him so very much, and can tell you everything you need to know about Taylor. Taylor is athletic and can jump 7 to 8 feet high but hasn't tried to jump any fencing. He understands commands very well, and is amazing on the leash. He plays well with large female dogs. Due to his size, probably best with teenage children and older because he could knock them down while playing. Whoever adopts Taylor will have a great dog to go hiking, take to K9 Nosework classes, trick classes, for walks on the beach etc. We have some Instagram videos from the shelter. We have one that is so adorable. While at the shelter, he picked out his bandana to wear on TV for dog of the week! It is soooo adorable.
