About Ginger

Ginger Terrier Mix Female 12 years old 8 lbs. Well, hello up there! I'm Ginger and I'm delighted to meet you, as you can probably tell by how much I'm wagging my long tail. Please snuggle up for a chat! I'm a sweet gal who was found as a stray, so my past is a bit of a mystery. But what we all know is that I am just a love! I get along with other dogs-though I'll put dogs who dare to pester me in their place, thank you very much-and ignore cats. I've had some interactions with older kids and I don't mind if they pet me but I'd do best in a home without kiddos under age 10 until I've had a bit more experience. Basically, I love all the love and attention. I bond quickly to my people and like to be in the same room, but I don't need to be in a lap the whole time. (Though I reserve the right to cuddle if we're both feeling it, of course!) I would do best in a home where my humans are around often because I get stressed out when left home alone so a retiree or a human who works from home would be ideal! I do lots of cute stuff, like snuggling into pillow piles, getting ridiculously excited for walks and meals, and rolling around on my back. I love those walks, but I'm also a big fan of napping during the day. I'm just an easygoing pet who wants to enjoy life as much as possible! I'm in good health, I've recently had a dental cleaning (and feeling so much better now!), and I can't wait to live out my golden years in a wonderful home.
