Phoenix, AZ Open Tuesday-Sunday from 11am-6pm Bentley Powers is a 3 1/2 year old chihuahua/dutch shepherd mix looking for his forever home! Bentley weighs about 18 pounds and is full grown. Bentley Powers is a very nervous boy who is in search of his emotional support person! He is shy with new people, but a loyal love bug once warmed up. Bentley gets overstimulated very easily and when he's unsure of what to do he will walk in circles. He is currently on Prozac to help him with this behavior however, he is very smart about avoiding his meds and will need a talented/creative owner to help him with this. He is timid at first but once he knows you, he quickly becomes attached. Bentley Powers will crawl into his persons lap and this helps him relax a lot, this may be all he needs once he's comfortable in his home! He will need a home where his person is home most of the time to help keep him calm. Bentley is also a big fan of car rides and is happy to join you on your adventures when allowed. Bentley also loves to play ball, another way to his heart. Bentley Powers has been good with men and women, but will need an adult only home of 18 year olds and over. Bentley Powers gets so attached to his people that he wants to protect them at all costs. He will need a home with limited to no visitors, and he will need to be the only dog in the home. He has been okay with other small dogs in play settings like doggy day care. Bentley Powers is a smart boy that is housebroken and good on a leash. We were concerned with Bentley, we got him a full blood panel and fecal, all his labs were wonderful and the Dr. had no concerns. He's just a very nervous boy in a busy environment.
