About Piper

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Piper is an affectionate, extremely loyal and very protective boxer-mix female who has aggression issues with several of our other dogs. She is a terrific guard dog who is great both on and off-leash, house-trained, and playful. We are interested in placing her with a family that has no dogs, or no aggressive dogs. We cannot overstate how loyal she is to her human family. She likes to remain close to you, both in and outside the house, and is a great on- or off-leash hiking companion. She does not have separation anxiety, nor is she thunderphobic. Her sole issue is a tendency to protectively overreact to aggression from other dogs. She is probably not a good candidate for a dog park. Piper sports multiple scars from her dog skirmishes, but is a beautiful girl who is just fabulous with people and non-aggressive dogs, and would make a great companion for a single person or family looking for a dog that will devote her life to looking out for and protecting you.
