About Sophia

I adopted Sophia before the divorce, and my ex does not have the necessary housing for her. She gets along great with our 8 year old daughter, as well as dogs that are similar in size. She does chase our cats yet doesnt bite them or growl. I have seen her growl and become agressive towards a much smaller dog, a Corgi, but gets along great with a boxer. She will need a securely fenced in yard, and a new home that has more time to walk her and I would like to see her go to a home with another dog similar in size for companionship. I own a small business, and simply do not have the time to give her the attention she needs. She is not yet Spayed, and will need the following. Rabies IMRAB 1yr /Lyme Vaccine Booster /Annual Physical Exam / Time for first HW Check /DHPP Vaccine Booster. She sleeps at night in her crate or she is happy to sleep outside as well but she will begin to bark at 5 AM if left outside. She sleeps as late as you do in her crate. She digs holes and will chew on wicker furniture if she isnt walked or finds herself lonely / bored. She jumps on people and naws gently on your hand until you tell her to stop as most untrained Huskies do. She is very sweet, has never bitten my daughter or myself, and I would like to see her go to a good home. Children over 6 would be best. She comes with a dog house, crate, walking harness and toys. She will certainly make a great addition to the right household, and it breaks my heart to see her go.
