About Copper

Look who's back!! Copper was just returned to us due to no fault of his own but is looking for his forever family. Copper is an 8-month-old hound mix who is currently just under 50lbs, we expect him to be around 80lbs when fully grown. Copper is a fun-loving little pup, very energetic and loves walks (but only likes grass). He absolutely loves to play and cuddle. He does play a little rough and has lived with two young children however due to his size and still growing, we feel he would do best with older children (over 7). A fenced in yard is preferred for him due to his love of running. He needs an active family as his hound nature always makes him want to go, Go, GO! He loves other dogs and would do awesome with a four-legged brother or sister to look up to and play with. He likes to chase cats so would do better in a home without them. His happy nature and adorable face are sure to brighten everyone's day. He is SUCH a good boy and will make a great addition to any family. Knows basic commands and is potty trained but will need to be in training after adoption to continue working on his manners and commands.
