PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. 2 year old male Terrier mix, about 16 pounds. Hi I'm Jenkins! I'm an active pup that is looking for an active person that loves to cuddle and receive sloppy kisses. Here is a bit about me: I am an escape artist. Not as good as Houdini but working on it! I like watching cats but sometimes I want to tease them. I am very social but would also thrive as an only dog (more food and love for me!) I sleep in my own condo (sleep crate) but I am very flexible with sleeping arrangements. I love sleeping through the night but excited to see you in the morning! I'm still young so I do have accidents in the home but I am generally potty trained. With your loving guidance I could get over my accidents. I love walks and being on a leash is not a problem for me! I like being around my humans so when they leave me I have a tendency to 'bark' for a little while. This doesn't last a long time since I realize this action is futile. I have no food aggression but I am a foodie. I do not have picky taste buds, I just love food! Yum yum yum. The saying 'you can't judge a book by its cover' is not true for me! I am truly as cute and cuddly as my face shows! From my soft floppy ears to my cute black button nose, the smooth, sleek fur to the tip of my tail exudes love and desires to cuddle! I've been told my face looks like I've perfectly applied eyeliner and that I'm as handsome as can be! I am very confident & I love life! COVID UPDATE: All adoptable dogs can be met privately with an appointment with their foster parents. Adoption events are on hold for the foreseeable future. All adoptable dogs are spayed or neutered at 6 months of age or older. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay/neuter appointments. If you live within a four-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, we will ask you to make an appointment to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
