About Luna

Luna is a sweet loving 6 year old pooch. She loves hikes and walks for the first 20 minutes; afterwards she's begging you to carry her 67lbs self back to the house. She loves human affection especially booty scratches on her tail bone and taking naps in the sun. She was an indoor dog the first couple years of her life so she will let you know when she has to go potty by whining or sitting by the door. I transitioned her to an outdoor dog when I had to move out from my parents house. She does well with older male dogs but is not friendly with female dogs. She has a somewhat dominat personality when it comes to other dogs but is very loyal and submissive to humans. She is also crate trained if needed to be put in a crate but does get anxiety from time to time from being in there. She does have a extreme fear of loud noises such as fireworks and loud yard work. If she knows the person doing the yardwork she will calm down. She also dislikes baths and water so no pools will entice her for a good jump. I only have until the end of October to find her a good home. I know many shelters won't give her the chance to be adopted due to her breed so I'm posting on here in hopes I can find someone who will give her a chance to be loved and receive her adoration.
