About Habanero

Meet Habanero Habanero is one of our 'Spice kittens.' Along with his siblings Pepper and Paprika, you will never meet a more playful, fun, gorgeous group of kittens. Habanero is a stunning silver blue in color, with muted tabby markings, and just look at that face! It's obvious he is a clown. He loves to play with his siblings and the bigger kittens in the room, and is absolutely fearless. He also loves people, and his loud purr can be heard from across the room. He loves people and enjoys being snuggled and held. We can't be sure but with his silver/blue coloring, the unique shape of his face, and his sweet cuddly personality, we think he has some Russian Blue in him. If you are looking for a sweet, fun, gorgeous little boy, Habanero is the one for you (and maybe one of his brothers!) Habanero is microchipped and current on all vaccinations and will be neutered before being adopted. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open. Our shelter is currently closed to the general public but for approved adopters we are making appointments to meet and adopt your fur baby.
