About Roxy

ADOPTION PENDING. Roxy is a sweet 6 year old 8 lb little shih tzu (mix) girl who found her way into a high kill shelter in south Florida. She was in pretty rough shape with her fur all matted, irritated skin, and a raging ear infection, all of which have since been treated. Now all Roxy needs is that special place to call home. Roxy is very loving but shy at first when she doesn't know you---who can blame her...can you imagine what she must have endured on the streets alone in a big city---she is so tiny and the city streets can sometimes be so big and threatening!!! BUT she is safe now and all that is behind her! She was recently spayed and recovering wonderfully. She loves attention and loves to snuggle--- and she gets along great with everyone, cats included.
