About Pumpkin PENDING ADOPT

Special needs: Pumpkin is a 2 year old shihtzu bichon 16 lbs owner surrender. He is housebroken, doesn't like his crate for long periods of time, short times are fine, ok with other dogs once he warms up to them, shy around people at first then very lovable. he loves to run and can climb the ladder and go down the slide on a kids play set. Unfortunately he is not up to date on shots or neutered and is also on a very special restricted diet due to pancreatitis. As a result the owner feels he'd do best in a home with older kids and no other dogs (due to his diet). While he loves kids an older kid would understand that Pumpkin can only eat certain things or else he has flare ups which can last a few days and can be very painful. He tends to get excited when people come over so his owners put him on a leash until he calms down then he is fine. Pumpkin is located in Wauwatosa., WI.
