About Cabby

Cabby is one of five pups who came to us from an unfortunate situation. His previous owner was not properly caring for him or any of the other pups. They were kept in the backyard, not vetted, not groomed and just generally ignored. When the owner decided to take his family in for spay/neuter, rescue advocates began working on the owner to surrender if care couldn't be improved. A couple of months later, we took in all five of the pups. They were covered in fleas and ticks and Cabby was the one of three younger pups, there with mama and papa. Despite the lack of care and what one would think lack of socialization, these kids are amazing! Cabby is the shyest of the bunch but has so much love to give - he just needs a patient soul to help him know he is safe and loved. Due to extended neglect, the fur on these pups is a little thin and their teefers aren't super straight but they are ADORABLE! None of these pups will be adopted out to an only dog home. They are used to the companionship of each other and will not do well. There must be another dog in the home or the pups must be adopted with one of the other in the Maltipoo crew.
