About Lexi

Meet happy Lexi! She is now ready for her furever home. We are looking for a home with a fenced in yard and someone that is not just malamute savvy with experience but also patient and understanding. Lexi has fears of the unknown and loud noises and once something happens once or twice, usually she is ok but she needs her people to keep working on her confidence with her. She's an amazing dog. She's very sweet, 100% house trained and would be ok with older teenage kids that are calm. Absolutely no young children in the home. They are just too much for her. If they come to visit she would be just fine with that but not residing in the home. Her ideal home would be with a middle aged couple with no other pets. She does have a prey drive so no small animals. She is dog selective so it would be best to place her with no other dogs in the home. She ADORES going for walks and just being with her people. Being around people is what she really lives for. So a moderate energy home would be ideal for her to keep her active and continue working on keeping weight off of her since she was quite overweight when she first arrived to us.
