About Miller

This handsome and very photogenic boy is 'Miller'(3 Miller is a German Shepherd blend who is estimated at 1 year of age and is 65lbs. Miller has typical Shepherd qualities in that he likes to patrol the yard and seems very committed and loyal to his person. Miller is crate trained, has had no accidents in his foster home, is excellent on leash and is a good traveler. He also loves belly rubs! Miller is playful but overall has a calm demeanor and is not a big barker. Miller is dog friendly but does resource guard and is protective of his food, bones and sometimes toys with other dogs. So if added as a companion dog, some management in that area would be warranted. We have no history with Miller and cats in his foster home but on walks he appears a little frightened by them. Miller loves to fetch his ball but it it's 50/50 on whether he brings it back - lol! Miller's ideal home would have a contained yard he could patrol and fetch his ball in. He would get a couple of nice walks a day or perhaps a playdate with a doggy friend. We think a home with children 8 and up ideal and one that is familiar with the Shepherd breed.
