My hobbies include: playing with my dog friends, snuggling during a good movie, doing laps around the yard, and catching water. I initiate my fun dog play with a pushing lean or a playful bark. I really want to play with everyone, but I am not allowed on the ground yet, so I am excited to get my shots and get out there with the big puppies. I am very agile and jump with ease. I love being in the garden planter where I am closer to interesting noises and smells. (I am not a digger and will leave your plants alone, I just want to be up high). I have figured out how to push the kitchen chair out to get to the kitchen table - yup, I am a clever little dude. At night, I patrol the yard for crickets. Not only are they fun to catch, but they are a crunchy evening snack. (Make sure I don't have one in my mouth when I come inside, or you might have a cricket in the house.) If you give me a light stream of water from the hose, I will enthusiastically try to catch the water in my mouth. I like to make my people happy. I have learned a few tricks; touch, down, turn, and sit. I will sleep in my crate, but would prefer to hang out with you on the bed. I have recently discovered the joy of toys that squeak - I have even managed to get a squeaker out of one or two. I haven't figured out that game you people call 'fetch', but maybe I will discover I like that too. I am sad when you leave, but I will greet you with a full-body tail wag and lots of kisses when you come home. Above all else, I want to be with you. If you are working at a desk, I will sleep as close to you as possible. If you walk around the house, I will be your shadow. If you are on the bed or the couch, I will want to curl-up in a puppy ball next to you. I hope to have a sibling - someone to share toys with and to play chase.
