About DEUCE

Meet Adoptable DEUCE! Deuce is a very sweet, loving boy that looks to his person for leadership & loves to be with you doing whatever you are doing. Deuce is a very timid dog with new people & new situations. He will require an experienced dog owner that will understand & accept this. Once he knows you & trusts you, he does not forget you! He is very loyal, the best cuddler, smart & catches on to things quickly. He knows basic commands, loves car rides, LOVES playing with his toys, especially tennis balls, & entertains himself well. He is great on leash walks, loves couch cuddles & to be in your lap at the end of the day getting scratches & rubbings. He is so cute when he stands his ears straight up, too! Deuce gets along with other dogs but needs direction on his play style because he wants to play hard & another dog will have to be on the tolerant side. A home without cats will be best for Deuce. We recommend children in the home to be at least 10 yrs old. Deuce is estimated to be 15 months old, currently weighs 56 lbs, is neutered, vaccinated, Heartworm negative, microchipped, house & crate trained. Deuce was an unclaimed stray that had a broken front leg when he came into rescue. His leg was surgically repaired is doing well with no limitations.
