About Tulip

Tulip is an extremely sweet and affectionate ball of energy. She LOVES walks and she's an avid sniffer, she would love to be trained as a hunting dog or be someone's jogging companion. Tulip loves to run and play and she loves the dog park! She does not like the car and requires medication to be calm when going for long trips in the car, this could change over time as she is still very young. Tulip lives in a home with another dog and does well 99% of the time but displays occasional resource guarding. She does beautifully at the dog park playing with other dogs so if she's adopted into a home with another dog it might require some training, she would also do well alone. Tulip has some initial separation anxiety but this can be quickly resolved by placing her crate in a secluded area and having her sleep in her crate. Tulip is 100% potty trained when she has a fenced in backyard to do her business or a rope to secure her outside. She associates walks more with sniffing and likes to do her #2 in a confined space and at her leisure. She is so so sweet and loving and just wants to be fully exercised, playful and well cared for. She would be a perfect fit for homeowners with a fenced in yard who have time to care for her, she would not do well in a home where she is left alone for 8+ hours a day, this would not work for her at all. Tulip is a fabulous companion with a long life ahead of her and deserves a fun, active household with time to devote to her to embrace her and all that she has to offer!! Tulip is up to date on all her vaccinations, spayed, and requires a diet with wet food and not kibble only, it disagrees with her stomach.
