Gorgeous , outgoing, high energy, great fun. This guy came from a home he quickly outgrew and came w no training, manners, boundaries, etc. He is quick to learn, still learning and challenges his training almost daily but is a fabulous dog w great potential. He will need to be homed w an energetic family that likes to hike, go to dog parks, etc, He could be homed w someone that is a runner (he currently has learned to jog by my side for 2.5 miles 4x week) but would need to go to doggie day care, have a safe yard w actives or something similar when left alone. This breed is easily bored and can look for trouble. He will outgrow some of his constant curiosity but they thrive best w companionship. Ideally he will have a dog companion. He loves to play and is a great retriever. He often puts his toy in my lap or pushes into my hand to throw. He pushes his toys into other dogs mouths to get them to play with him as well. He's great entertainment. He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to swim. He loves and is great w other dogs (except ones that look and squeal like rabbits) and simply adores all people. He is incredibly sweet and affectionate but respectful of boundaries. Ideally he needs to be homed w someone that has experience w high energy working breeds or huskies. He needs a strong leader who will continue to enforce rules and boundaries. Huskies are a super fun breed but can be challenging. I am a foster home that has worked with this dog for a couple of months. Hes fabulous. Would love to keep him but he has a bit of a prey drive but minds very well on leash around chickens, deer, etc. He probably couldn't be trusted w cats. We have one here but she has lots of ways to get away from him. I do require a virtual or in home visit and will provide time w you so you can continue his positive reinforcement training.
