About Nina

Nina is a foster puppy on our farm. We have no idea what she is, although a mix of boxer, pit, and perhaps some rat terrier may be in the mix. Nina is best suited for a fairly active home with older (at least not tiny) children, as Nina is a puppy with sharp puppy teeth. She also needs a family that has the TIME to spend with her and continue her training and socialization. While she can put you on a guilt trip (see photo), she is actually quite friendly, happy, and inquisitive. Just yesterday she helped me do some landscaping, and you can imagine how much help she was! She wants to know what you're doing, and usually if what your working with can be chewed up or played with. She will also 'back-talk' you when you tell her to do something. (Reminds you of a teenager?) All joking aside, Nina desperately needs a home SOON. Although she isn't large, she picks on our vision-impaired mini Aussie and also on our 8-lb Chiweenie. Because of this, she will have to go somewhere soon. I would not recommend her in a home with very small, aged, or disabled dogs right now, because she wants to play...and she plays roughly. She's been around many types of livestock, and WILL sometimes chase them, but she might be broken of this habit with time and maturity. She chases cats, but a wise old cat might also break her of playing with cats. Rehoming fee goes to cover her shots. Parvo is very bad this year, and we want our babies protected.
