This handsome boy was super shut down, super scared and was pretty sick. He has been in foster care with us for months now and we think he is ready to find just the right family for him. Tommy, the softest cat in all the land, is sweet, goofy, and sometimes spicy. It took a few months before he began to show interest in playing, and befriending the other cats in his foster home. He enjoys the company of the other cats as long as they don't pick on him. Tommy is still learning to trust humans, and loves to snuggle on his own terms. He is not fond of being held, and can get spicy if he is spooked but overall is a friendly, and sweet cat who is very verbal when he is ready for a snuggle. He would love a family with a calm household so he can continue to learn to feel safe and loved. He would do great with other friendly cats, and cat friendly dogs. It will take some time for him to acclimate to a new home, but with lots love, and a little patience he will be your new bestie. Tommy has had a chronic eye infection (not contagious to others) that still flares up from time to time.
