Maya is an athletic and energetic, 1 year old, Domestic Short Hair mix with long white whiskers, soft white belly and the cutest little white boots. She is an independent female, who loves to play with toys on strings, lasers, or with her playful foster siblings. Maya is full grown but so very young at heart! Her foster family reports she still gets the kitten 'zoomies' sometimes late at night, and first thing in the morning. Maya has the most comical facial expressions, and her overly sized ears add so much to her lovable character! She's been introduced to other feline friends in her foster home and likes to wrestle and romp around the room for games of hide and seek. we think with a slow and proper introduction she'd likely adjust to sharing her home with a cat savvy canine companion too. Maya loves daytime naps in soft cozy spots and asks for things to climb on and scratch like a tall scratch post and cardboard scratch pads.
