Maggie was abandoned in my neighborhood. She was emaciated, sick with parvo, scared and on deaths door. My son and I took her to our vet and then began the treatment to nurse her back to health. After a month she slowly began to show signs of growth and gained 5lbs!! We have had her in our small midtown home for almost a year and we truly love her. My son and I both work and he is also in school, Maggie spends hours in her kennel everyday. I hate this for her. She deserves more. She needs constant stimulation and training. She craves it. We need to find her a home where she can thrive, she's not a regular 'house' dog. She gets along great with my 2 pit mixes, however I don't trust her around my young niece or other children. She is huge! Maggie knows basic commands, she is highly food motivated. She plays catch, loves to jump for the frisbee, will master anything we try and teach her. She's brilliant and I hate to let her go. My son will be going off to college soon and I just can't handle 3 dogs.
