About Knightly

Bengal
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

I am so so sad that I have to re-home my best friend (Bengal cat), Knightly. I am 7 months pregnant and I know he doesn't do well living w/ small children. Before me, he had one family after he left the Cattery. The ONLY reason they gave him up for adoption was because of how unhappy he was around their kids. They had 5 very young children who at times tried to play w/ him (in a rough toddler-like way) and he would end up attacking the kids. He would scratch them bad enough to cause concern. Knowing all of this, I think the kindest thing would be to find him a home where ideally, he would be an only cat. According to the previous family he did just fine with their dog but I wouldn't know. Since I've had him, it's just been him and I (occasionally running into my grandmas cat that lives in the house below my apartment. Their encounters were very ugly, and to this day we've never gotten them acquainted. It's safe to say he does not do well w/ other cats). All I want is for Knightly to be happy and thrive. He's been happier than ever being an only child w/ me, so I don't want to put him through the stress of living w/ a small child again. My boy Knightly is one of the mushiest cats I have ever met. All he wants to do is sit on your lap and cuddle. He LOVES any and all attention (just not from little kids apparently lol). He loves everything you give him. I haven't wasted a dollar on a toy, he plays with whatever you give him. I've also made him toys and things. His FAVORITE place to sleep is inside a cardboard house I made for him. Although I never had the chance to finish it, he loved it anyway. He does require a particular kind of food since he has had crystals in his urine in the past. He does just fine and is without issues as long as I buy him Purina Cat Food (the urinary tract health kind). I'll provide more details on all of that if you're the right fit. I do have his paperwork. He did come from a Cattery/reputable breeder. He is TICA registered. I did pay quite a bit for him and would like to get at least something back. Normally I wouldn't care about this at all, but I recently lost my job and need to prepare for the baby to come in November. I need to buy baby stuff and currently am unable to afford it. I was going to use whatever I receive from the re-homing fee to buy the things I need. Thank you!
