About Missy

Currently in foster in Olympia WA. MISSY is a total sweetheart. She is 4 mos old (4/24/21) and weighs about 25#s (should get up to about 45-50#s). She is super sweet and VERY happy. Nothing bothers her. She loves kids, dogs, toys, and cats... although the cats don't like being her toy. She's not mean towards the cats... she just thinks they are stuffed toys that move! Missy will be a great family dog...children, other dogs...lots of fun. We're working on house training... almost got it. We don't know her breed. She looks like a Shepherd mix. It will take a DNA test to get a good idea. This dog is available now to pre adopt directly from us, the rescue, in Texas. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heartworm prevention. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. We try to make it as easy as possible for you but if you are applying or have applied anywhere else, we do need to know that, too. SHANYE'S FOSTERS is a group of foster parents in the Olympia/Tumwater area. We foster dogs for rescues and assist them in adopting/rehoming of their pups/dogs by listing on this site. Many dogs posted here are available to pre adopt NOW directly from the rescue. The only ones in foster in the NW specifically state that. We have very few fosters so most need to be pre adopted. All adoption fees go towards rescuing more dogs in need. No one receives a salary. Shayne's Fosters is not responsible for any experience you have with any dog you might see posted on this site. They are the property of the sponsoring rescue who will supply all medical supporting records which is given with each dog when adopted. Our adoption fees cover all medical costs to make sure the pups are appropriately vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and spayed/ neutered. It also covers the cost of transport from Texas and the necessary health certificate documentation. The fees also include a negative heartworm test for any dogs over 6 months. Some dogs have additional medical, such as FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and a myriad of other vetting. We do full disclosure of medical care/situations. If the adoption fees seem high (which never cover the true cost of rescue), we recommend fostering for a good rescue. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees. We are always in need of good fosters. We are all volunteers who donate our time and resources to help save as many dogs/pups lives as we possibly can.
