Imagine not having any love and attention or even a name for most of your life? Not getting to play and only learning things that helped you survive when then there was not enough food to be found? That was this dog's life, his name is J.P. Any animal that is rescued from terrible hoarding conditions and still has affection for humans in his heart is truly a miracle. JP is such a miracle. JP is a handsome 2 year old 36 lbs shepherd basenji mix ready to be the center of a loving family's holiday photo! This dear dog, because of his past living conditions, has not learned how to be comfortable with another animal in the home and not see them as competition, which any of us would find understandable. So he URGENTLY needs a foster or forever home as your only dog. He will walk and play in a yard with another dog but when he's inside at home or snuggling with you at night he wants a family all to himself! Will you be JP's miracle? J.P. is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. The adoption fee is $500. We require adopters to have a fully fenced yard.
