About Lil Dude

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] This is Lil Dude, small in stature and big on personality. He is a Cattledog pup who was born April, 2021 and currently weighs about 15 pounds. Click on the red YouTube link to see a video of this pup. Lil Dude is special. His tough start in life doesn't keep him down at all. Unknown trauma as a much younger pup left him with a tail healed from a break and a back end that doesn't completely track behind his front legs. He does have seizures if not on his medication, but he only needs a low dose. He does have some issues with depth perception. None of these issues hold him back! He's got lots of personality and will be a great dog for someone who is slow and patient in his training.�%A0A home with small kids is likely too much for him, though. He is full of life and ready to have fun. Lil Dude is working on his commands and knows sit and come. He is doing well with his house training and is good in the crate. Lil Dude has been good with everyone he has met so far. He also has been good with other dogs. He lives with three Cattledogs in his foster home and recently became playmates with a Poodle. He likes dog playmates. We think he will be good with cats, based on his temperament. Lil Dude likes to play with tennis balls, but hasn't figured out fetch yet. He is working on his leash training and is already good in the car. Lil Dude likes to be outside, but also is happy playing with other dogs or napping near his people in the house. He will make his people smile with his big personality and zest for life. Lil Dude is a lot of happy in a small package. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is ready to meet potential adopters who can meet and adopt in SoCal. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
