About Duchess

This super sweet, beautiful little girl is Duchess, and her heart is as BIG as her huge SMILE! Duchess is a 7-year-old female pit bull and is between 40-45 lbs. She is smaller than most pits, but she is a rock solid, muscle bound little girl. She is extremely outgoing and a cuddle bug that is all around exuberant and excited about life. She loves everyone and just wants to make the most of every adventure and new experience. While she is well behaved, potty trained and knows her commands she can also be slightly destructive and might have an accident every now and then if left alone for too long of a period. The perfect home for her is someone who works from home or is retired. She LOVES to have human interaction. She can be protective of her owners when other animals are present. Duchess is good on a leash and loves to run! She LOVES to play fetch with her Favorite toy, her Extra-Large Kong (the only toy that seems to last longer than an hour)! She knows how to drop it at your feet and patiently sit and wait for you to throw it. She gets soooo excited when she can catch it mid-air! Duchess is potty trained and is an indoor girl. She has been an inside girl all her life, so please do not leave her outside by herself, she is not at all acclimated to the heat. Her forever home needs to allow her to live inside where she can be with her humans. After a long day of playing, Duchess LOVES to snuggle up in bed with her owner! Under the covers with just her head poking out =) There are not enough words to describe how precious this sweet girl is, and she deserves to be in a very loving home that will show her some much-needed time, attention, and much deserved love.
